Homelessness Still an Issue for Women and Children in Central MA

Homelessness among women is often misunderstood due to the lack of visibility of homeless women and their children on city streets.  You will not see them panhandling with their children. Instead, they are “couch surfing” at friends’ or families’ residences or living in cars and shelters.
