Abbys House

Donated clothing, furniture and household items are collected and attractively arranged in our thrift shop located at 52 High Street. Women in need receive merchandise at no cost. All remaining items are available at low cost to the public. Volunteer staffers assist shoppers, sort donations and organize the shop. The money raised from sales helps to continue the work of Abby’s House.

PARKING: There is free parking in the Abby's House lot. There is free parking also on the right side of High St, Mon-Fri, 12-1 pm. Additionally, there are four 15 minute spots on the left side of tHigh Street.

Donations:

Donations are accepted during regular shop hours. We are happy to accept gently used, seasonal clothing in good condition and household items of all kinds including kitchen ware, lamps and decorative items. At times we are in need of furniture in good condition that may be used to set up an apartment such as small kitchen sets or desk sets (no televisions please).

Currently we are specifically in need of bureaus/dressers. If you have any additional questions regarding donations please contact Jodi at (508) 756-5486 ext. 31.

We do not accept books, computers, TVs, furniture, records, record players, hangers or used pillows.

Please note that we will accept children's clothing or toys only if they are new, packaged or tagged, due to the new safety laws imposed regarding child safety.

Parking is just beyond the building on the left – signs for Abby’s House parking are at the rear of the lot.

House Pins

Abby’s volunteers and local business owners help to sell beautiful House Pins by Lucinda. Through this important fundraiser, a portion of the proceeds from sale of the pins goes to support our mission and programs. You may purchase the pins at our thrift shop, and at the following locations:
